The Malt Impostor is the brain child of John, Stephen, and Bill. Originally, we set out simply to make fun of overly pretentious whisky tasting notes. But over time, our parodic approach has given rise to a distinctive and idiosyncratic style of tasting notes, the likes of which the world has never seen and whisky lovers will never forget. We believe people should taste whisky with unbridled joy, literary flair, and with friends. We also believe that no one should ever take tasting whisky too seriously.
